“ Not sure what these other half idiots that gave bad reviews have smoked - we are originally from the Bronx and have been to the Arthur avenue location plenty of times as well as this location in Armonk. This location is just as good as Arthur Avenue with the exception of not having the wood oven pizza. Service was exceptional- very attentive. Pasta special was fresh fettuccine with shaved truffle - the pasta had a delicious snap to it with the well paired truffles. Overall the food was very very good. ”
“ My son liked the pesto pasta. The service and ambience was good too. Good local spot. ”
“ Wonderful food, calm cheerful environment with attentive wait staff. Will certainly return! ”
“ Visit # 5 to ZON was on Saturday night, 5/11, prior to Mothers Day. Our new favorite server Arbor was great. He handled our 17 person table expertly. The flow of service and food quality was spot on. We were provided with the wine cellar for our group. Not sure it is my favorite spot as I like to be amongst other diners but we appreciated the kind gesture. The Italian dishes - from apps. to main courses were well presented and the portions are plentiful. Pastas, Chicken, fish entrees all pleased the crowd. Complimentary Limoncello at the end of the meal continues to be a nice touch. Arbor identified me as Marcus O the reviewer but I am sure all guests will be provided with the same high level service. The restaurant has found its footing and is consistently very good. ”
“ We had such a great experience at Zero Otto Nove today. The atmosphere was vibrant we started off with some properly made cocktails by the bartender. Following up with baked clams for an appetizer which were very delicious. Then came our meals wow everything tasted freshly made with love. Our waiter Brian was very attentive and well informed with the menu. Overall the restaurant was well decorated with a romantic feeling. Meter Parking was plentiful around the restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back. ”
“ As much as I was sad that The Tap House closed, I am happy there is a Zero Otto Nove in Tuckahoe! I don't get around to Arthur Ave very much so having it within 15 minutes is a blessing. We came here for restaurant week and glad we made a good decision. I started with the Burrata, and then the chicken for my entree. Dessert was a decadent chocolate cake. They also gave us complementary espresso martinis! Great way to end the night. ”
“ Dinner at the recently opened Zero Otto Nove in Tuckahoe with a colleague and his wife was enjoyable. So glade I made a reservation since the restaurant was packed when we arrived for our 7:15 p reservation. Some of the décor has changed from the previous establishment otherwise it's the same set up. Two floors with the bar and kitchen on the first floor. The hostess led us to the top floor that is accessible from fairly steep steps. There are fewer tables and since they are farther apart on this floor we were comfortable and were able to have a nice conversation through our meal. We started the meal with the fried calamari. The rings and tentacles were lightly batter and fried to near perfection. My husband who is not a big fan really like it. I'm a "ring" gal when it comes to eating calamari but if you like the tentacles you will be satisfied as they were equally served. The Fra diavolo sauce was zesty and think which to me is preferable to the often served thick marinara that accompanies this dish. My colleague who is a wine connoisseur I was in charge of the wine. We started with a Amarone Della Valpolicella that paired well with the calamari. The waiter expertly poured the host a small amount to taste and once approved he poured for the table. For dinner we each ordered a different entrée which the host considered before ordering another very nice red which was a bit more robust. I'm not very knowledgeable about wine but they are and they thought it was spectacular. Kudos to them for a very good wine list. The waiters were attentive but not obtrusive. Water was filled, bread delivered, wine poured then plates and silverware removed before main entrees arrived. The Chicken Francese is served in a creamy light wine-lemon sauce with thinly sliced red potatoes. The thinly sliced red potatoes did add anything to the dish. Instead small roasted potatoes would have been a better choice. The portion was plenty to satisfy without being too heavy. My husband ordered the linguini with clams. The taste, portion size and pasta doneness was good. Small clams were served on top of the pasta. Our host ordered the Chicken Scarpariello and his wife the Duck leg. The dark meat chicken was served on the bone, served in a brown sauce with peppers, onions and sausage which he enjoyed. The duck dish was one of the "specials" for the evening. I believe it was braised and also served in what looked like a similar sauce to his chicken dish. We were too stuffed for dessert but not too full to try the complimentary lemoncello which they make in-house. It was good, slightly sweet and sticky with a smooth finish. While we were in conversation one of the waiters started putting dessert plates and forks in front of us. We hadn't ordered dessert so was unsure what the plates were for. We received a complimentary board of 3 small yet easily shareable desserts. A cannoli cream sandwich in-between what was a tulle type cookie. A strawberry cheese cake and a decadent chocolate mousse cake. There was a nice variety of desserts with each one of us having a favorite. With that we ended a very lovely meal where a new friendship was forged. I would definitely recommend this restaurant but advise you make a reservation, most if not all tables were taken this Friday night. ”
